U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi was recently arrested at the Tijuana border. Earlier that day he crossed into Tijuana, Mexico, on foot, leaving his car parked on the California side of the border. A common practice that I have done myself several times. After dinner with friends, he walked back to the U.S. He got into his car and entered the ramp he believed would take him onto the I-5 freeway leading north back to San Diego. That ramp circles back under the road and leads to the border checkpoint.

On March 31, Andrew Tahmooressi, a decorated United States Marine who served two tours in Afghanistan, made the mistake of taking one bad turn – and the chain reaction to that turn has set off an international furor.

Mexico has a Zero Tolerance policy to their borders while at the same time the President of Mexico demands an open border going North. The Southern border of Mexico is heavily guarded and unauthorized entry is dealt with heavy handedly.

Today he is, after two months in prison is getting his day in court. Not that Mexican Court is anything more than a corrupt arm of organized crime and drug lords.....

If convicted, he faces six to 21 years in a Mexican prison, said his Tijuana attorneys.

The Mexican army regularly runs missions over the border into Texas and Arizona escorting drug shipments. There is no respect from the Mexican Authorities to the American border. The folks living along the border states live it every day while Liberals in the non effected Northern States run interference for the illegal border jumpers.

I'm personally feel it's time to be done with the bullshit. If Mexico wants to be in the US that bad then help them out. Hit these bastards with a full air assault followed be a ground attack taking out every politician, police officer and drug lord in that country. Declare mexico as a new state and sort this mess out.

This wouldn't be the first time this has happened. In the 16th Century the Mexican Inquisition spent 250 years killing and beating the crap and out of the people of that land in the name of Jesus eventually conquering the territory for the Pope and Spain.

That Jesus invasion ended in 1820 and now 200 years later there isn't a home in Mexico without a large picture of Jesus hanging on the wall in a personal shine with candles.

Kick their asses now, take over the oil fields and industry giving the locals a decent wage and let time heal all! Mexico is the 5th richest nation in the world. It can support itself and prosper once the criminals are erased. If people could make a decent living below the border they wouldn't be climbing fences to come take ours.
